About me

I studied at West Surrey College of Art & Design (Now the Surrey Institute of Art & Design) then Wolverhampton University.

My first break was as a runner for the BBC on the programme Home Front. Then to styling assistant where I assisted for two years.

Then a move up the ladder to Stylist and art director working on programmes such as Home Front, Home Front in the Garden, Millennium Party, Planet Patio and Home Front Inside Out with Diarmuid Gavin and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

Working for the BBC I also worked for BBC Books and BBC Worldwide Publishing. In 2000 I decided to go freelance and started out as contributing stylist for BBC Good Homes magazine. Also for CICO Books on a paint effects book. At the same time styling for Talkback television on the third series of Grand Designs with Kevin McCloud.

Over the following years I have worked across editorial, PR and advertising for a huge range of clients.

In 2006 and 2007, I won the coveted Crystal Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Presentation of Hartley Botanic's stand for Country Homes & Interiors magazine at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

I'm happy working with both digital and film photography and am equally at home on location or in a studio.
